Position Summary:

M&D Real Estate is looking for an experienced property manager to play a key role on our property management team. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years experience managing residential, multi—family, and/or commercial property. Candidate should be able to maintain efficient daily operations, multi-task and prioritize in a faced pace environment as well as increase the property’s value while also meeting the needs of the tenants. Property Manager Responsibilities:

Maintain consistent and courteous communication with all internal and external callers, tenants and property owners
Screen, troubleshoot and coordinate tenant service requests; dispatch calls to maintenance/services vendors and follow up with tenant, owner and/or property manager as required
Process and screen rental applications and leasing paperwork
Process tenant move outs including walking of units and make ready coordination, itemization and return of security deposits in a timely manner
Review and approve vendor work completion, approve invoices and submit to accounting
Complete regular exterior inspections of properties and complete annual interior inspections
Prepare memos and letters, including default notices, renewal notices, tenant correspondence, and other documentation, serve notice as required
Prepare and maintain complete and accurate property and tenant files
Maintain tenant and vendor contact lists, screen vendors, contracts lists, and manage database systems for Property Management
Develop a complete familiarity with the Property Management web-based software system (Property Matrix)

Property Manager Skills & Qualifications:

Minimum of 2 years experience in property management
Proficiency in Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook and Internet skills
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Strong business vocabulary, grammar and effective communication skills

Salary & Benefits:

Salary Range: $48,000 – $55,000 Annually
