Position Summary:

We’re looking for a skilled in-house maintenance technician to work with our Property Management division and to assist our Residential and Commercial divisions. Good candidates will have experience in make ready, and general maintenance for single family rental homes and small commercial projects. Our mission is to help our clients maintain the safety and value of their homes through home assessments and regular maintenance.

Rockwall, Texas & Surrounding Areas

Maintenance Technician Responsibilities:

Make ready of homes as they are turned including thorough inspection and repairs as needed.
Troubleshoot issues to determine necessary repairs.
Perform general repairs that do not require a specialized technician. Examples may include minor plumbing and electrical, repairing drywall, painting, and repairing doors, fixtures and appliances.
Diagnosis of repairs that require specialized technicians including communication and coordination with outside vendors.
Coordination and scheduling with management staff, agents and tenants as needed.
Annual inspections of homes and regular site visits and report findings to management staff.
Orders supplies and materials needed for repairs and maintenance.
Provide timely feedback to management on any issues or needs.
Build solid productive relationships with team members and customers.

Team player attitude, solid work ethic, willing to pitch in where needed.
Uphold strong customer service orientation with a demonstrated desire to exceed expectations.
Comfortable in a fast-paced environment and in dealing with ambiguity.

Required Skills:

Minimum 5 years of experience in general maintenance and repairs.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and ability to use a ladder.
Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle and standard tools.
Company van available, mileage reimbursement if personal vehicle needed.
Willing to work overtime and weekends, as needed for emergency situations.

Benefits:

Salary Range $35,000 – $65,000 Annually, based on experience, with Bonus Opportunities
Medical, Vision & Dental Benefits paid at 100% for Employee
401K, Including Matching up to 4%
Vacation, PTO, & 11 Paid Holidays
