With Easter right around the corner, many communities, organizations, businesses and churches are hosting events and celebrations. To help you find some FUN options for kids of all ages to enjoy for this upcoming holiday, we have compiled a list of different events happening in all around us!
1. Breakfast with the Easter Bunny at Shenaniganz (April 16th)Â
From 9 AM to 11 AM on Saturday, April 16th, you can enjoy Breakfast with The Easter Bunny at Shenaniganz in Rockwall, TX. This fun meal includes an unlimited breakfast buffet, two free attractions and photos with the Easter Bunny!
2. In-Sync Exotics Wildlife Rescue & Education Center (April 16th)Â
On Saturday April 16th, guests are invited to enjoy face painting, bounce houses, games and easter egg hunts at the In-Sync Exotics Wildlife Rescue & Education Center. From 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM, kids up to the age of 12 can enjoy easter egg hunts, games and watching the wildlife at the rescue.Â
3.Easter Brunch at Dodie’s (April 17th)Â
Enjoy Easter Brunch on Sunday, April 17th at Dodie’s from 11 AM to 2 PM. There will be live music by Sandy Bates with multiple Cajun inspired dishes and traditional dishes like Chicken and Waffles and Burgers. There will also be $3 Mimosas, Bloody Marys and Tequila Sunrises served throughout brunch.Â
1. Easter Egg Hunt (April 14th)Â
Royse City will be hosting an Easter Egg Hunt on April 14th at the Bulldog Stadium. It’s free entry with the Egg Hunt beginning at 6:30 PM. There will also be food trucks, face painting, and the Will Kincaid and RCB Bands.Â
2. Royse City First United Methodist Church Easter Egg Hunt (April 16th)Â Â
First United Methodist Church in Royse City will be hosting their annual Easter Egg Hunt n Saturday, April 16 from 12 PM to 2 PM. There will be a hotdog lunch and an easter egg hunt for kids from PreK to 4th grade.Â
1. North Texas Animal Connections Easter Egg HuntsÂ
On the two weekends before Easter on both Saturday and Sunday, North Texas Animal Connections will be hosting multiple easter egg hunts separated by age groups. Admission fees are required but there is no additional charge to participate in the hunts. The kids will have the opportunity to take pictures with the Easter Bunny, look at the animals and have a picnic with their family at the rescue.Â
2. First Baptist Forney Easter Egg Hunt and Celebration (April 16th)Â Â
First Baptist Forney Is hosting an Egg Hunt and Celebration from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM on Saturday, April 16th. This event is free for kids of all ages up to the 6th grade.Â
3. Northeast Texas Community College (April 9th)Â
The NTCC Business Club will host its 2nd Annual Easter Egg Hunt on April 9th at 10 AM. It is a free event with over 6,000 eggs for kids ages 12 and under to find.Â
4. Egg Drop and Car Show (April 9th)Â
5,000 eggs will be released from a helicopter for kids to enjoy at Freelife Church in Forney, TX. It will be a fun event with food, bounce houses, face painting and opportunities for pictures with the Easter Bunny!Â
1. Great Eggs-Plorers Easter Egg Hunt (April 20th)Â
Faith Baptist Church invites guests to join them for their first ever Easter Egg Hunt on April 20th at 11 AM. There will be three different hunts separated by age groups with over 5,000 eggs being hidden for kids of all ages to search for.Â
2. Easter Eggstravaganza (April 17th)Â
On Sunday, April 17th, from 12 PM to 6 PM, the Elite Experience Events Cultural Organization will be hosting the Easter Eggstravanganza. There will be 3 different Easter Egg Hunts and over 6,000 eggs hidden. There will also be face painters, snow cones, food, giveaways and an opportunity for kids to take pictures and meet the Easter Bunny!Â
