DFW Retail Demand Soars to 3rd in Nation

Overall, retail markets are ricocheting back as the net absorption levels recorded so far for Q1 of 2022 were positive for the first time since the onset of the pandemic. Contributing to the levels? An increase in leasing activity and fortunately, a decrease in the number of retail stores closing. To put things into perspective, the pandemic caused negative net absorption for the first time in 30 years. Q1 of 2022 was a promising indicator that things are bouncing back.

Industrial Real Estate BOOMING in DFW

Dallas-Fort Worth is outpacing the rest of the nation in construction of industrial space. With over 60 million square feet of space currently under construction in Dallas Fort-Worth, the industrial market is definitely in high growth mode right now. Furthermore, according to data from CoStar, DFW saw absorption of 42.2 million square feet of industrial space this past year alone.
